| Poker 101 - TIME TO GO TO SCHOOL |

KINDERGARTEN: Before we can “play nice” with the other youngsters, we must know all of our POKER TERMS, from A to Z!

|
1st GRADE: Here’s our INTRODUCTION to TEXAS HOLD ‘EM POKER. Since we’re just learning to read, it’s only 2 pages long… and it’s in BIG print!

|
2nd GRADE: This short 1-pager describes the various different BETTING LIMIT games that can be played in Texas Hold ‘Em:

3rd GRADE: We’ve got the basics down…. It’s time to take a look at establishing and improving our BETTING STRATEGIES:

4th GRADE: The game has started…. But before the cards are turned UP, let’s tackle some PRE-FLOP STRATEGY!

8th GRADE: We’re heading to our first REAL table! But before we sit down blindly, let’s determine who’s a TIGHT Player, who’s a LOOSE Player…. And WHO TO PLAY:

9th GRADE: Way to go,… we made it to HIGH SCHOOL! Now we can start exploring some of the more intricate aspects of Hold ‘Em Poker. Like the Art of BLUFFING!

10th GRADE: Image is important in High School….. and your TABLE IMAGE in POKER is much more important than you think…. Here’s an excellent article on the subject from the great Poker writer Mike Caro:

11th GRADE: It’s time to start thinking about your opponent(s)….. A sharp Hold ‘Em player will take this time to start SPOTTING TELLS….or TELEGRAPHING of the other players at the table. It’s the “Body Language” of Poker!

12th GRADE: Whether it’s playing an online game or your neighboorhood version, LOOK OUT FOR CHEATERS! Is there anything you can do to reduce your odds of being “taken”?

|
|
